Its true, yesterday was Evalie's first birthday and where do you think her father was... thats right prison. For those of you who don't know Jeff is tarring roofs at a prison for a few weeks. Evalie's first birthday came and went. We had a family celebration on Saturday the 12th. We went swimming and had a party. She had a cupcake, which she loved, but it didn't love her back. She received lots of toys from family and friends and she has yet to get sick of them. We always thought she had a long attention span
for a 1 year old. Characteristics I see in her at 1 year old: social butterfly... like her daddy. flirtatious... like her mommy. determined... like her aunt Melissa. energetic... like her aunt Kelly. whiner... like her mommy. imaginative... like her daddy. sleepy head... like both her daddy and mommy.
While visiting Grandma and Grandpa she ate lots of new food and fed herself a Popsicle. Jeff tried out the new surf and slide at the aquatic center. He didn't quite get the hang of it.

I can't believe its been a year. You forgot to say smart like her mommy. You need to post pictures of her doing her different signs. She really is a perfect little girl.
