Melissa and DJ's baby shower was on Friday. Jeff and I hosted it for them at my in-laws home (don't worry Jim and Sue, nothing was broken or damaged in any way). They had friends and family there. We had an awesome dinner put on by everyone. Pot lucks are the best. There's always something for everyone and everything tastes good. Then after dinner Melissa and DJ opened presents from everyone. Since we don't know the gender of this baby there wasn't a whole lot of clothes passed out but enough diapers and other essentials.
We played a game of All in the Family. It was fun, and Wendy won. Natalie was there with her new baby Vincent Joel. He is a cute baby with a perfectly round head and so little.
Evalie was around eating all the desserts and M&M's she could find. Needless to say she suffered from it later on that evening.
main gift of the night was a Pack n' Play people pitched in to buy for Melissa and DJ. It is like the Cadillac of travel cribs. The baby doesn't need a room it just needs this crib and he/she is set.
