Where's the reward...
Its not me, when we first moved into the house you could barely tell the floor was white. It looked more like almond with patches of black and brown. I told myself I wasn't going to scrub this floor that hard because its just going to get ripped out anyway. So once a week I would take my mop and clean up a bit, mostly the messes that we made during the week. Jeff would periodically get down on his hands and knees and scrub one spot. Usually nothing would happen. Today for the last hour I took my scrubbie and my vinegar and I scrubbed edges, corners, high traffic areas, grooves, dings and dents. It does look better more like Oreo cookie icecream but still awful. So floor I give up on you. I blame you and your stubbornness to release the dirt. My forefinger is raw with all the scrubbing. Floor, just to give you a heads up, you will be replaced with a nice brown vinyl in the following weeks ahead.

Where's the reward? That's my million dollar question. I bet it still felt good to clean it though.
I tried scrubbing Grandma and Grandpa's floor one day when they were gone (Grandma would have protested if she was there) and it literally looked just as dirty. Actually I think it might have looked worse because they were shiny, and stood out more. I hate cheap, old linoleum floors.
I know you get your new kitchen soon! I'm so excited for you!
So impressed you even tried to see if it'd come off. Sometimes I just want to get rid of mine and start anew. But because mine has a few small holes that catch all the dirt!! Gross!!
