Well I've been in the theatre business for 7 years now. I have seen a lot! of movies. So I started thinking hey... I know some stuff about movies whether they are good or not or little tidbits of information others may find interesting or useful. So I was thinking I will be a movie critic and I am going to start with the more recent films I have seen. Starting with...
WALL-E: **** The interaction between robots, the gestures made by them, it was so creative and fun. I wasn't thinking "I've seen this before" because its unique. It was very much a "green" movie, but I liked it because its true we do need to take care of our earth and do our part.
Dan In Real Life: Starring Steve Carrell- **** this film was not a chick flick, it was a comedy, the portrayal of a large family and a single dad and teenage daughters was so much engaging that I watched it twice. It was realistic to me and thats why I enjoyed it so much.
Kung Fu Panda: Jack Black- *** Jack Black was being himself with his impromptu spiels. Very funny, very enjoyable. Almost has an unwanted twist.
Bucket List: Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson- ** a little rough around the edges with a used story line. Although it had intimate parts which kept you emotionally bonded to the characters. Lots of language in this one.
Get Smart: Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway- **** The most funny one liners during the entire movie. Everyone was a comic relief. I didn't want it to end. A must see. I do hope they make another one.
Lars and the Real Girl: Ryan Gosling-**** He was so intriguing in this role. I could not help but be awed at his talent. Different in a good way. Simple yet deep. It came highly recommended, and I highly recommend it.
My Mothers New Boyfriend: Meg Ryan, Antonio Banderas, Colin Hanks-* I would say the only thing I enjoyed during this movie was to see Tom Hanks' son Colin Hanks in acting. He acts so much like his dad at times. Not a good role for Meg Ryan. Cheesy!

Ohhhh! Keep this up! I never know what movies are out since we don't have TV. I loved reading your little comments on each one! I give you a thumbs up!
I really liked the Bucket List and we look forward to watching Walle, hopefully this next weekend. The other movies, I have not heard of. We just watched the Great Debaters last weekend and that was good, based on a true story. Now, come check out our blog.
